Glitch Kitsch

We dance across fluffy clouds filled with our likes, indulge in super-sweet stories - surrounded everywhere by juicy clicking sounds ... TikTok ... TikTok ... Vibrating consoles keep us awake! We troll from window to window and take a look in every room. What's going on there? A Smurf?! Into the next profile!

Welcome to the data network! Can you feel it? Do you see it? Do you see me? Is the picture blurred? Is it fake? Or are you fake? Saved and secured, we set off in search of what triggers us and the traces we leave behind on the net - we change them, blur them, try to eliminate them and create new ones. Take your controller into your own hands and travel with us into a world between visibility and invisibility, reality and fiction, fact and fake.

Using augmented reality elements, Glitch Kitsch explores the boundaries of the stage and poses the question of where reality begins and fiction has long since become reality.

For Your Eyes Only?!

In Glitch Kitsch, we experience the doings and creations of an influencer factory. An eleven-year-old, a thirteen-year-old and an adult dancer lead and manage this agency, embodying a large number of influencers themselves and deciding what is seen on social media and what is not.
